Gordon Harker

Born London. Son of famous scenic artist, Joseph Harker. Toured Australia with Oscar Asche. Served in War, and since played leading stage roles in London. Played comedy roles in most of Edgar Wallace talkies. 

 

Gordon Harker (1885 - 1967). After his debut in The Ring, Harker quickly became one of the most popular of Britain's character actors. In the mid-thirties he was the star of many classic movies including Rome Express, Friday the 13th and The Ringer. He is best remembered today for the title role in the Inspector Hornleigh series. His last film was Left, Right and Centre. (See also photo of Harker in The Frog
