Joseph Schildkraut (1895 - 1964). His British films are the least part of his achievement. Most of his best work was done in Hollywood in films such as Orphans of the Storm, The Man in the Iron Mask and The Diary of Ann Frank. He got an Oscar for playing Dreyfus in The Life of Emile Zola.
